Bird Pantheon
The extensive pantheon of gods and goddesses worshipped by the birds of the Selene Cliffs and throughout the Isles, rooted in the union of the Isles and the Mysts.
For the denizens of the Selene Cliffs and most birds of the Isles, the mystical lands of Mycorzha are believed to be ruled by an intricate pantheon of gods and goddesses, all interwoven with the forces of nature and the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. This is a cultural and religious interpretation specific to the birds of Mycorzha and does not necessarily reflect the true nature of the Mysts or the Isles as understood elsewhere in the Beyond. At its heart are the father figure of the Isles and the mother Mysts, whose ethereal union gave birth to the Four Winds, the foundation of balance across the land. From the Four Winds sprang the rest of the pantheon, each deity embodying different elements of nature, magic, and life within this enchanted, fungal world.
The Isles and the Mysts are the first of the gods, the mother and father who shepherd all of their children and all mortals through realms of existence both physical and spiritual.
