We do not and will never use AI to create creative content of any kind. This beef IS PERSONAL as one of us lost their job to AI so you know we are angry enough follow through. We firmly believe AI has absolutely no place in the creative process. Some examples of creative content we make include:

• original games and TTRPGs

Product Descriptions
We use AI LLM's to help us make product descriptions on the website! Why? Well for one it's not creative but mostly because those descriptions are important to the search engines that advertise us on Google or similar websites and we find that machines do the best job at talking to other machines.

Placeholder Text
Sometimes we use AI to help write a brief placeholder for where creative website content will go. Lee is the world builder and and absolutely awful writer, so sometimes a middle step happens where a new region is made on the website for link purposes and we get some fast content to the website with a short description until Melisande can sit down with Lee and extract actually useful words from their skull. We promise to mark these with a disclaimer if they happen so you know.


Software Development
We make software sometimes to go with our games because we are also all software developers. We use LLMs to help us speed up the development and coding process, build out testing, and generally do more with our small team. We promise we read and understand all of it, and it was not just vibe coded by someone with a theater major and a dream.


Social Media
More specifically we use Canva to make social media posts, which has a bunch of AI generated graphics (borders, typography, weird photo frame things) and templates that help us get content together for you quickly and easily tackle stuff like trending hashtags in the descriptions. It is difficult to tell on this platform what is AI generated vs not, so disclaimer it is. AI also does some useful stuff like auto generating content captions for our videos! Don't worry, no AI social media graphic ever ends up on our actual website or products, we only use it for one time posts.

Sometimes against our will shopify ingests our website with AI scrapers and things get missed or posted that we didn't create. If something you see doesn't make sense (like maybe you saw our tea on amazon for a lower price) chances are we did not approve it and are not aware of it.
