Viw has been a digital artist for over 15 years following graduating with their B.A. in Arts. Viw specializes in bringing characters to life with a whimsical, expressive style that resonates deeply with fans of all ages. Their expertise spans from detailed character portraits, book covers, and dynamic illustrations. In addition to showcasing their work at conventions, Viw has collaborated with independent creators, publishers, and businesses to craft unique visuals that enhance storytelling and branding. Whether designing for fan-based projects or professional commissions, Viw’s passion for creativity and attention to detail shine in every piece they create.
Requesting a Commission
I deeply enjoy commissions that challenge my artistic skills in new and interesting ways. My commissions are highly selective as I prefer to focus most of my time on world building for Beyond Cafe. When I do take on a commission, it needs to be something that genuinely excites me creatively.
Please don’t take it personally if a commission proposal isn’t accepted. It simply means the project wasn’t the right fit for where my creative energy is focused right now.
Contact me using the commissions form below. Let me know what you want me to create in as much detail as you can, including any reference images you might want me to use. I will ask some follow-up questions and ultimately decide if the piece sounds like something I would enjoy creating.
Drawing Process
If I decide to accept your commission, I will message you back with a general price estimate and basic terms such as deadlines and copyright expectations. If you accept, pay the non-refundable deposit as confirmation of your spot in my calendar and acceptance of the terms of the contract. There’s a sketch. You pay half. I finish. You pay second half. Larger or more complex projects can adjust things here or there.

Copyright Terms
I maintain portfolio rights to all art I create, if you would like to showcase it somewhere or use it for commercial products be sure to ask.
Artist Rights
- I retain full copyright and portfolio rights to all artwork I create, including commissioned pieces.
- I may display the finished work in my portfolio, on social media, at conventions, or in promotional materials.
What You Receive
- You receive a personal use license for the commissioned artwork. This means you may display it in your home, use it as a profile picture, or share it on personal social media.
- Credit is always appreciated when sharing online. A simple tag or mention goes a long way!
Commercial Use
- Using commissioned art on merchandise, in publications, for branding, or any other commercial purpose requires a separate commercial license.
- If you think you may want commercial rights, let me know up front so we can discuss pricing and terms before work begins.
