While all worlds are hand-crafted by the High Priestesses–a council of twelve Goddesses selected for their power and connection to the universe–Haelos is unique. The planet’s creator, Ehses, the Spirit Goddess, defied the rules by crafting magicless mortals. While souls are meant to endure a degree of hardship to become refined through reincarnations, the High Priestesses were forbidden from creating mortal beings without powers, as the sacred energy is a divine right for all creations. Ehses continued her experiments, creating Fae whose souls do not leave after death, but instead are recycled, allowing them to be perpetually reborn on the same planet, further disrupting the delicate balance of the universe. This disorder created tension between the shadow-types, faeries, and humans, leading to the creation of three separate districts: Ombra for the shadow-types, Eternita for the faeries, and Prisma for the humans.
