The Mysts

The Mycorzha Isles are a Morelitea original world filled with mushroom magic, unique cultures, and long lost mysteries that only our Beyonder club members can discover through reading our monthly short stories. Like all worlds the creatures that live here have shared values like holidays and a justice system but each of the 12 regions of Mycorzha also has detailed cultures and biomes that shape the world. Learn more about the Isles here or through the Beyonder's club!

Major Holidays of the Isles

Most communities across Mycorzha celebrate the four seasonal holidays: Nimmireth, Arda, Faelivrin, and Lumeanar. Each marks a turning point in the year and connects closely to the land, the community, and the lifecycles of the Isles. While the core traditions are shared, local customs often shape how each holiday is celebrated.

Nimmireth — Spring

Nimmireth begins when the first morel mushrooms appear on the Isles. These mushrooms are used as symbols of the season and are often included in decorations, gifts, and meals. The holiday centers on the idea of new life and growth, both in nature and in the lives of the people.

Arda — Summer

Arda marks the beginning of the Great Trade Meets, when nomadic groups and merchants gather to share goods, stories, and food. These events often last for several days and involve music, dance, and large communal meals. Because of its link to trade, Arda is associated with the sharing of teas and herbs, especially custom blends given as gifts.

Faelivrin — Autumn

Faelivrin is a season of reflection. It honors the elderly, the ancestors, and the guidance that comes from the past. It takes place during the peak of mushroom growth and the return of the Mysts. The reappearance of the fog is seen as a signal that the ancestors are watching, and that the land is shifting into a time of rest.

Lumeanar — Winter

Lumeanar takes place during the longest night of the year and is connected to the cold, barren north. The holiday draws from stories of the White Plateau and the spirit of the Frostfire Forest, which is said to descend and cover the land in darkness. In response, communities create light and warmth to push back against the cold.
