This large evergreen forest to the north is known for its intricate carpentry and natural hot springs. Wood detailing is everywhere, with those who travel here yearly even intricately carving the posts to their collapsible canvas homes. The dark tones of the evergreens are interspersed with an under-story of hardy ferns that the critters enjoy upon their return in the spring after the worst of the snowy season has passed.
