The glacial mountain range surround Luna Valley forms a crescent moon like shape. The mountains are near impossible to cross, large and foreboding they end in sheer cliffs along the valley edge. The White Plateau to the northwest is mostly a pumice like white rock. Between the harsh rock and constant snow nothing grows here.
